Sorry buddy.

Not all 3050's are the same.
30 series mobile graphics cards are available at a variety of power configurations.
The higher power TGP 3050 will be faster than the lower power TGP 3050.
Usually, the higher power it is, the thicker and heavier the cooling solution, and therefor the laptop, will be.

It's important to note that this laptop does not have a MUX switch, however. Thus, the performance of the RTX 3050 is limited.

Yeah, it needs much more than the standard max of 100 Watts to charge and run. I believe that the power brick is 180 Watts (or similar). That said, it would be nice if Dell included it because the PD could likely work at 100 Watts the majority of the time. But it's not unusual to see on gaming laptops.

Amazing how quickly laptops improve AND drop in price. I paid nearly this much for an i5 9000 series with integrated graphics just a few years ago, and that was a "slickdeal" back then.

I don't have personal experience running Sims 4 in this machine, but I've played numerous recent AAA titles on my similar G15 without significant issue.

Every time a G15 deal comes up, there seems to be a 50/50 mix of positive and negative comments on this forum; but keep in mind that most of the naysayers have no hands-on experience with these 3050 laptops. I'm not saying the G15's are perfect, but they are capable machines that you can confidently game on in 1080p. Well worth the money, IMHO.
