Good price on a good remaster (rework) of an older cult classic. People generally found the gameplay favorable, and the game offers an intriguing story and outstanding music.

Be warned the director of this game loves to make games require multiple playthroughs to experience the full thing. People generally hang on for 3 of the 5 endings or so, but all 5 can become a chore. You wouldn't be blamed for just looking up content on youtube after a point.

I am currently playing it. I am about 20 hours in and I have mixed emotions about it. It's definitely has 2010 action RPG vibes. LOTS of errands to run. Over-the-top voice acting. No automatic saving. You have to run around the map constantly back and forth.

HOWEVER...it still got me locked in. The music is FANTASTIC. The fighting is fun. The story...after 15 hours, gets REALLY good. I am a huge automata fan. This game scratches that itch however, still hoping for more.

FYI: I started on HARD and hated it. Enemies turn into HUGE sponges. Makes the game even more tedious.

What are you doing here then wasting time talking to us poor folks trying to save $10 bucks?

You should hang out with them richer people that don't want to wait to save $10, but will wait for $20 savings.

I just came here to say this game is a masterpiece. One of the top 3 JRPGs I ever experienced. Up there with FFVII and X for me.

Do you like it better than Automata? I just finished that one, but I also read all the lore behind it so I feel like Replicant is mostly spoiled for me now
