At $13.59, shipped and sold by Amazon. This is a relatively low price historically. I just ordered one and the expected arrival date is July 19-20.
MidwayUSA has the same knife at the same price in stock (https://www.midwayusa.com/product/1015649661), but requires $49 for free shipping.

I have the Cold Steel (Non-Bowie) Bushman Knife and it did came sharp. Those are the kind of knives that you can add a handle and make them spears. Please also note that on the new version of the knives the seam on the handle is unwelded.

To those that are interested.... save for a gun, spears are probably the best tools to defend yourself against animals. The maasai tribesman of africa use short spears to hunt lions. But don't use spears like you see in popular culture, you don't throw spears. Spears are used to keep an attacking animal at a distance and poke holes in it at the same time. Spears with sharp pointy wood tip is good, but putting a metal knife on the end is even better. I have this knife, it's an ok knife but fantastic as a spear tip. I like it enough to get a second one. Thanks for posting this deal.

IMHO this is an enabler for using external lashing or clamping to tighten the blade to the shafts. Hose clamp or tight cord or wire wrap. Without the open seem the blade wouldn't tighten to the shaft.

There's a hole where you put a screw in to secure the shaft

True that secures it to the shaft. But it doesn't from being loose on the shaft the shaft.
