Does Costco get manufactures to produce goods at a cheaper price and specifications just for them ? I could not find this model sold anywhere else, including the Skechers website.

The shoes look very light, and the price is acceptable, is worried that the shoes are not wear-resistant

I've been looking for a comfortable sports shoe. I've been watching the NBA and would like to join a local men's recreational league. Thanks OP.
These are not the shoes you would want to wear to play basketball. Probably OK to wear if you're just shooting but not during a game. These shoes weren't designed for lateral movements so no ankle support, uppers are fabric, less shock absorption for vertical jumps and probably other reasons that I can't think of now.

Just think of it this way... would you buy basketball shoes to go jogging/running?

I ordered these shoes online over weekend ….was supposed receive by Thursday but earlier today received email saying "global supply chain is experiencing unprecedented challenges resulting in temporary delays impacting our suppliers" 😳

Want to use these for gym ….don't care much on color as long as they are comfy and value for money during the times of inflation

Bought a pair and inside a week it broke. Thankfully we are talking Costco so no harm done but I would stay away.

I bought them for work but if their crap imma just return them.

I'm on my feet all day and my shoes wear out quick.

I figure good beat up shoes for $20 with memory foam if not no biggie to return them.
If you are on your feet all day there are so many better options

Depending on if you are standing (Hoka Bondi/Clifton) for most of the time or walking around (New Balance/Saucony/Asics)

Spend the extra $75-100 for at least a year or two of maximum comfort

My son wore these to work - the shoe split from the sole in a few months. Threw them away.

Have had these from Costco about 18 months. They are lightweight to me, but I don't mess with high-end athletic and/or running shoes that might be made out of unicorn toenails to shave off a couple off grams, so some may find them heavier. I do live in AZ and can attest to the shoes breathability which is one of the reasons I was attracted to them. Any "step" you can take to alleviate some of the heat is welcome here. Been wearing them as my work shoes which entails lots of walking around on cement be it in our warehouse or when I go shopping for work to HD, Wally World, etc. For this function and with the added cooling effect due to the breathability I think they work great. As mentioned by previous poster they slip on/off easy as can be. We also have four trucks I'm frequently tasked with washing. The mesh lets the shoes dry rapidly and allows enough air that my socks will typically dry out fairly quickly too. Living in AZ also contributes to the quick drying so I am not sure as to their quick dry ability if you were say canoeing down a jungle river.

Will my pair last much longer? Actually I'm looking to replace them due to tread finally getting wore out and was stoked by this post until I saw that there were no 9.5s. At $25-30 they are a steal in my opinion. So I would buy again for cheap lightweight shoes to go walking a bit in.

Now as to the myriad of other tasks called upon by a set of shoes I cannot say as to the effectiveness of these particular shoes. I can say that I wouldn't try doing anything athletic in them save regular walking. Nor would I expect me to pick up the ladies at the club with them because they're Sketchers however if ya do want the ladies there is a set of Ghostbuster shoes on another thread here that would probably fit the bill Smilie.

You could try searching for a deal on Costco membership. Problem solved.

Dad shoes
Is that a compliment? Because it means they are shoes (sneakers) for dudes that have had sex or the financial means to adopt children.
