Your math is correct, but just know that some Best Buy wouldn't know how to process the enhanced trade in value correctly. I suggest you bring a print out showing the $450 trade in value, but even then, there is no guarantee that you'll get it.

I drove for 20 minutes to a Best Buy the other day just to be told that my phone (Z Flip 3) was not on their trade in list, even though I said I did the same deal just a week ago at a different store. I argued for 20 minutes and didn't get anywhere, so the next day I went to a different store and got the deal in less than 10 minutes.

Not all Best Buy employees are trained the same, so don't be discouraged if one store says no, and just go to a different one.

FYI, you only get these prices if you activate the phone on the big 4 carriers.

When you go in the store to trade in, many of them will have trouble with the trade in value. They'll offer you whatever low amount they would typically give. You'll need to correct them and tell them it's a promo. Show them the webpage on your phone on the BestBuy site (go to any S22 product page and there's a blue heading above the price, click that).

Then, they may believe you but have trouble figuring out their system. When they pull up the model for the trade in, they have to go past the initial screen. When they do, the promo should show up. Then it's going to ask them for the promo code. That code is literally SAMSUNG. It's nowhere to be found otherwise.

I've traded in 3 phones under this promo because of the high values they're offering. Each experience varied.

1) First store did it without issue once I balked at the low trade in and mentioned the promo. He knew everything.

2) Second store couldn't figure out where the promo was and is responsible for the info I provided above.

3) Third guy refused, said they don't do trade ins and when shown the promo called his manager. Manager said Best Buy would have to be stupid to do this and refused. Lol. This was the same store as the first time, just different employees. Went to another store and they did it just fine.

Point is, the experience will vary widely depending upon the knowledge level of the employee. Just be polite and patient and stick to your guns. Most of them just aren't aware of the promotion or familiar with how to do it. One manager was so happy when I told her I thought I knew the promo code that she fist bumped me and thanked me profusely twice. Only one guy was a complete @$$.

Only black color is eligible to ship to my house, white is completely sold out, all other colors can only be picked up at store. I went with black to save me a trip.

You're posting in the wrong thread. This isn't a Verizon deal.

Can this deal be done (S22 Ultra) for Unlocked and activate today for US Mobile (don't have line with any of the big 3)?
No you have to open a line on any carrier first. You can then cancel.

Did promo with AT&T and the phone was $799. After the 800 gift card, the total came out to activation fee($25) + phone tax($47) + new line($55). Will try to cancel the new line after picking up the phone on this week.
You have to wait 14 days. Otherwise it's a buyers remorse cancel and best buy can ask you for some money. They may not, but they can by their terms.

Went in today to Bestbuy to purchase the S22 ultra 256gb or 512gb phone via the Verizon trade in option and they have none of the phones in stock or for delivery. They apologized and said since there is no stock available they cannot sell me a phone and unfortunately the deal with Verizon ends today.

Any options or thoughts? Store closes 7pm ET.

I was going to trade in my S10 for the $800 monthly credit.
Go to another store they can do it online ship to you

I see. Thank you for the advice. Do you perhaps know if I can still get back the activation fee and not be charged the one-month new line fee after the 14 days?

There are a lot of people buying phone through this deal, but no one has the exact answer (still conflicting answers). if I open a new account with T-Mobile, would it be a soft credit pull or hard soft pull. P.S.- I am not adding a new line in an existing account, I am opening a new account.
Any answer from anyone who has recently done the deal?

with all those extra fees I don't understand how is this deal better than samsung.com, especially if you are not a current post-paid customer.

With samsung deal, I'm paying $350 to trade in my note 20 ultra for 256 gb s22 ultra. Which is less than what I have to pay at BB with all the fees combined.

Could someone please help me, not sure what happened.

So I went to store, exchanged the Z Flip 3 for S22 Ultra, but the rep required us to add a line with Tmobile - but never put the new Tmo sim inside, I don't want Tmo line (and the plan) - how do I cancel it or do I have to do anything if I never put the SIM inside?

What is safest way to cancel the Tmo plan which I just got today.

Thank you

I opened new line with Tmo, how do I cancel - I don't want 60/month plan.
