U8G will still be far better than this. There is a U8G replacement coming though. As an owner of a U8G, I won't be replacing anytime soon. This TV is amazing and should be for the next 4-5 years
I actually read rtings' review on the U9DG and it sounds absolutely amazing for movies, but not so much for gaming. So maybe I'll be okay for a while after all.
