Wow, that's an incredible price! We love our robot vacuum. The tab that locks the dustbin in place broke on ours awhile back, and because the dustbin was backordered, they just replaced the entire vacuum. 😳 Vacuum sometimes has weird pathfinding around obstacles. The map sometimes gets messed up, but we resolve it by just picking the unit up and putting it back on the charger, and it corrects itself. 99% of the time, we send it out to vacuum, forget about it completely, and come back to clean floors! We have mostly wood floors, but previously had carpet, and it's done great on both, in our experience.

Just felt like posting because we really like ours, so call me a Robot Vacuum evangelist, I guess. lol

I wouldn't touch this. I wanted to buy this around Black Friday but stumbled upon this thread.

It's an ongoing issue that wyze won't address.

If I were in the market for a replacement for my Roomba. But it's still holding it's own. It'll die tomorrow. 🙄

(This is how my life works these days.)

Isnt Wyze the company that had all the security holes and servers in China and got caught not letting their customers know they were hacked awhile ago? And you want to put a Lidar mapper in your house from them?

Anyone use this in multiple floors? Plus sunken living rooms? Or does it have to relearn each time? And what does that mean for the "home" if it tries to return to its base?

Brief: It damages walls and carpets, misses all of the perimeters, and is yet one more needy device in your home. It gets stuck all the time and mis-docks and runs dead. It's very buggy.

Neato d6 or this one? D6 doesn't have area cleaning.

This is great price. i bought the refurbished one when it was 150 and we love it. Lidar mapping is just a game changer. The previous robot we had just ran around and would always get stuck somewhere .
We'd know it was stuck once we didn't hear it no more then go on our scavenger hunt to find it. Now we got our rooms set it handles its business then goes back to its base. Only thing thats slowed it down have been cat toys with strings on them that our cats drop anywhere. Sometimes gets wrapped around the brushes. Great robot vacuum.

Anybody upgrade to these from the cheaper "bounce around" Eufy vacuums? I have two of the Eufy ones but they often get stuck and make a ton of noise trying to correct itself. Thanks in advance !
Far superior to the Eufy. I had one of those for a week and returned it. My wife appreciates the even lines this one leaves in the carpet.

Everyone saying LIDAR is a game changer is probably true but I think LIDAR has become more of a baseline requirement. LIDAR cannot be a differentiating factor anymore and cannot be the only reason to hop on to this deal when there are comparative products out there.

Tried to cancel, but too late. Now I have the dilemma of whether or not to give it a try vs driving straight back to the store. Most posts seem positive but I'm not sure I want to risk even a small chance of destroying a rug. Sigh, usually I dither and miss out on deals…. This time I jumped fast. Lol!
I'm in the same boat. After reading all the forum posts on wyze's site and seeing what looks to be chemical burns, I am returning it

Best robot vac I've owned, including Neato and Roomba. Set up your map, eliminate the problem zones and it's a workhouse. I've used it daily since launch 2ish? years ago... Good value at this price
Any marks near where it parks?
