It's fun co-op zombie shooter in 3rd person. I would get World War Z: Aftermath instead as that's the second season which includes the first. I wouldn't buy any heavy intense graphic games for Switch as they usually slow down or toned it down. Switch is best for casual 4 player games or portable.

To me single player was boring, well made but had no sense of urgency (something you'd expect in a zombie game) and the friendly AI was worthless to the point of just randomly responding to threats. I bet multiplayer at higher difficulty is great though. Never tried as I rarely play online / connected.

It helps fill the void of not having a Left 4 Dead game but leaves you wanting another Left 4 Dead game. Definitely not the same diversity in enemies.

According to Nintendo Life, the Switch port is actually solid which surprises me.

I have this and can say that it's good for the switch, minor skip here and there but overall good. You will def notice it is not 4k if you play it on Xbox or ps. Aftermath is not available on switch at the moment, but this does give you the Marseilles map for a total of 5 maps. A few other thing as well but not the other two maps available with aftermath.

I really enjoyed this game when I played it during the initial launch on Xbox. Unfortunately they were slow to update the game and I fell off. Picked it back up recently and it was kind of dead so I stopped playing it.


But one big gripe back then was the class perks needed improvements which they did over time. We were also waiting a long time for a much needed difficulty spike which they eventually handled as well.

There are some cool melee weapons now with unique perks and weapons you upgrade with currency and usage.

The format for each level is pretty similar. You will see hordes of zombies which you take down at range and kill the ones that get into close proximity. There are a few unique zombies as well to watch out for. There are gadgets that can be found at supply locations and can be refilled with various perks (kill 15 zombies in quick succession, etc).

I'd definitely try it out if it was recently released for switch otherwise the community may wither down if it has been a while.
