I've had the weed eater for a long time and really like it. It's light weight but plenty of power to do what is needed for regular lawns. I don't think the blower is strong enough for anything wet but would do a good job with hard services.

Good deal if you have some 4ah batteries. I would imagine the 2ah drains pretty quickly with moderate use.

Having owned both, I'd recommend the upgraded combo. Blower here is weak, and the trimmer uses thin string (wears out fast).

Damn, Just bought a refurb trimmer from DTO for $60, and was waiting for a deal on a leaf blower. I need to check if I can return the trimmer to DTO, but I already tossed the packaging.

"The blower is pretty underwhelming" is being kind lol The blower was meant for an 8 year old as a toy. I'm not saying every blower should opperate at 175mph but this thing is lucky to blow 55mph. It's not going to do much at all.

I have this combo. Trimmer is fine. Blower is only good for sidewalks or hard surfaces, it does nothing in grass.

I got both of these from eBay tools direct last year for like $49 shipped. Basically new just open box returned. This is supposed to be home depots open boxed account https://www.ebay.com/sch/tools_di...pg=&_from=

edit: it looks like they have an extra 30% off the listed price right now. no issues with trimmer. blower isn't that strong
