i believe i recently paid 228 for this, also at walmart. mine is smart, w/ built in roku. not sure if it's the same, but looks to be, and it's the same size.

i take it back, this one is not smart, and no roku

RCA 50" Class 4K Ultra HD (2160P) LED TV (RLDED5098-UHD)

This TV has a decent picture if you really work the set-up controls. Out of the box, not so good. Sound is the worst of any TV we've purchased. Slapped a left over set of speakers on it and its great. That being said, it is the cheapest 50" (by quite a few $$) that we've owned.

One thing I liked about RCA. You could turn off the video and still listen to it. Not 100 percent this can do it, but RCA flexed this in ads and marketing for some time.

You know...like the radio...RC, ah nevermind. Blasted kids and their mytubes and webflixes.

Hold power button to bring back video.

Think a lot of TVs have this kind of feature in the menu. Quick search of the manual and this RCA tv has the same, though no quick access from the remote. You have to dig in the menu to turn off the display each time, maybe could setup a macro on a universal remote if you were really interested.
