I'm a huge Milwaukee fan, but let's be real, Hart is more than enough for 99% of people.

Tough to beat this price and yes I would think the quality is on par with Ryobi as 1) they are made by the same company 2) many of Harts cordless look exactly like the Ryobi brother although possibly with a few tweaks to differentiate the two tools.

One thing I have noticed since Harts introduction is their relationship with Walmart differs greatly than with Home Depot with Ryobi. Walmart is very particular about giving away valuable shelving space so if a particular tool is not doing good in sales Walmart wants it out and something to replace it. This can be good or bad for someone invested in Hart. Would be great for getting more tools at clearance pricing occasionally but the negative is a tool you may be "eying" gets clearanced and may never be available again to the consumer.

Another negative is the charger looks like some type of cheap battery cap charger so I doubt it will charge batteries quickly. Your probably going to have to wait 6+ hours and the batteries included look like minimum Ah batteries so I am guessing 1.5 ah. Better have freshly charged batteries for the Recip saw before beginning a project.

This is a good deal for a basic homeowner cordless kit. I'm a Ryobi ONE+ guy, the same comments I would make about a Ryobi kit apply here:

The LED light is a great tool for cutting down on battery waste. These LED lights can typically run for a long time on a single battery, and come in very handy during extended power outages.

The handheld vac is really useful for saving the hassle of dragging out a large vacuum for small spills and minor cleanups. Also very power efficient. They are extremely useful in a workshop, garage, car interiors, getting into tight spaces on shelves and in closets.

The reciprocating saw, with the right blade, is a fantastic gardening tool. You can limb trees, cut saplings, and do a lot of pruning maintenance beyond the capability of even very good loppers.

No, these aren't Milwaukee, Dewalt or Bosch quality, but most people don't need them to be. This kit makes a great housewarming gift for a first time homeowner.

I was able to get three of these last February on clearance. While they aren't top tier quality or power, they are great deal for $98. Even slicker if you can find them for $50.

You will want to get a bigger battery for the sawzall if you're going to be using it for anything but the smallest of jobs. 👍

We bought this with the previous deal to keep in our camper. It's great for what we need it for. We also bought this 2 pack of 2.0 batteries, nearly half off at $59. Hubby was happy to have more batteries. The 4.0 are on sale also but not nearly as good of a deal.

Ok well I can't figure out how to post a picture, but search for the hart battery and you'll see the 2 pack of 2.0 for $59.

No. Ryobi batteries are inserted into the tool, sort of like a gun mag into the gun. Whereas, Hart batteries slide into the tool, like how other tool brands are.

Same kit I got for $50 a couple months ago. Given this is the same stuff as Ryobi brushed tools its a decent deal at $100.

Killer price for a decent set.
I got a similar set of HART stuff and have been happily surprised by how pleased I am with it.
It's not top tier, but it's more than adequate for household/DIYer use in my opinion

Walmart partnered/hired Ryobi for them to make the Hart line. It is Ryobi.

The week slow charger and small battery kill the deal. Start your tools with a fast charger, dual 4 amp hour batteries, and get the tools as they go on sale.
