Not trying to thread crap - merely offering my perspective.
1. This fragrance has been reformulated... you'll be lucky if anybody (even including you) are smelling it 15-minutes later.
2. For a few dollars more there are SO MANY good quality fragrances you can wear. Granted, they'll only be 3.4oz but will be SO MUCH BETTER. Want a green fragrance? Armaf Tres Nuit. Want a great bang for you buck summer scent, for under $20 you can get Nautica Voyage anywhere. Want something for the fall that's tasty? Go buy Halloween Man-X for under $30.
I have somewhere between 50-75 frags, so I'm merely here offering my thoughts as I don't want SDer's to be making a purchase and having buyer's remorse shortly thereafter.

Ur opinion on Drakkar Nior? and if that is bad now, what would be good replacement?

Dude - if you want to rock Drakkar Noir, then by all means rock it! If you don't know what it smells like, I would either try to find a place that may offer a free spritz (like a sephora or macy's). You can spin the wheel buying a bottle or order a small few ml decant.
Frags are a personal choice - it's like art or music or food. There's no correct answer.
If you have a certain scent or mood or time (like a seasonal vs all-year, night/day/both, partying vs office, etc, etc) and price point I'd be more than happy to offer a few suggestions.

I'm trying to gift my dad a cologne but having a hard time finding a good one? He loves earthy, pine, zest smelling colognes lol any that you could recommend?

Read up on it... I have it and while it's amazing for what it is, it's not for me. But amazing quality for how little you pay.
Wanted your thoughts and expertise on similar types of colognes as the Bleu De Chanel which I love. Which ones come close to it when it comes to fragrance? Thx.

Drakkar Noir now has been watered down -- I recommend "Dakar al rehab" - A very ugly looking bottle that can be found on Amazon for about $7 shipped. Lasts many hours and smells just like vintage Drakkar Noir.
It comes in both a spray and a "roll on" oil, so pick whichever one interests you more. Noor Onyx is another (oil) which smells just like Drakkar and lasts all day, for about $20
