I understand if you buy these in advance and redeem later your codes may have already been given to someone else by Eneba. However, my GPU expires on 6/16 (ie, 5 days). Being that is so close, I'm thinking that I should still be good to buy now? Didn't know if anyone had experience with codes not working after waiting a few days

Thanks to the person a few pages ago who mentioned that you can get 50 days out of a 3-month gold subscription if you have an active GPU subscription.

As you mentioned, not as good of a deal as for new subscribers but still a pretty dang good deal. Ends up being about $4 a month

Yeah I gotta wait for another deal. Not gonna test with 2 months remaining on Ultimate. No idea if they give codes to someone else.

For those like me who are seeing $15 to join (I have been a member a couple times in the past) I Googled "gamepass games (I did this just out of curiosity, not sure if I'll join again right now), clicked the "Xbox Game Pass Games Library" link to Microsoft's site, and clicked on a game (I went with Sea of Thieves). There was a "Join for $1" button that took me to https://www.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-game-pass#join. Here I was offered 3 months of ultimate for $1.Might be worth a try.

EDIT: nvm, showed $15 when checking out.

I did my initial conversion on Jan 11th 2021 with a 2 year Gold card from Costco (shows last payment on that date for $1.09) so before I added these my expiration date was Jan 10th 2023 so I only had 7 months left. I bought 11 codes total and did recurring billing with all but 2 so it seems I got not quite 2 1/2 years as my expiration date is now 6/12/2025.

I'm not sure what he's talking about, and what would be not working. The price still says $6.67 for 3 months card. The resellers are probably fluctuating throughout the day, so I'm betting it was just something that was in their cart from one seller and it "ran out". But if you just go back to the link it shows still available for that price.

And the promo code looks like it's a very small % savings, like 5%. So you save like $3 if you buy 9.

Can't say for sure but maybe if you are already converted the limit is longer. I noticed after topping up my exp. is 1 day past 36 months.

No current experience but when I first signed up for GPU I had a hair under 3 years of XBL/GP remaining. The GPU offer was $1 for one month. After signup I had 3 years of GPU - not 3 years plus 1 month.

I think MS has been pretty clear all along that the max you can covert is 36 months. What wasn't clear is whether your total GPU time (conversion time PLUS whatever GPU time you're signing up for (1 mo., 3 mo., etc.) can exceed 36 months. It seemed to me the answer a few years ago was No, but maybe that's changed.
