I think MS has been pretty clear all along that the max you can covert is 36 months. What wasn't clear is whether your total GPU time (conversion time PLUS whatever GPU time you're signing up for (1 mo., 3 mo., etc.) can exceed 36 months. It seemed to me the answer a few years ago was No, but maybe that's changed.
