The Home Depot[homedepot.com] has the EcoFlow 1200-Watt Peak Output RIVER Push Button Start Portable Battery Power Station, Solar Generator for Outdoors for $249.99 with free shipping.
This matches the previous Frontpage deal from a couple weeks ago.
It's only 288Wh, effectively doubling the battery storage to 576Wh. You can only add one extra battery.
Both for $437 with coupons and discount.
Seems reasonable.
the Bluetti EB55 - 700w / 537Wh unit for $500 is the closest rival I could find: https://www.amazon.com/BLUETTI-Po...B098LSKJHH
However the Bluetti has a Lifepo4 battery instead of lithium ion which has a few advantages. Lifepo4 is supposed to last 4-5 times longer, is safer and I believe lighter than lithium ion.
Slightly larger inverter, smaller Wh..
It's a bit strange this is marketed as a 1200 watt peak but it's really 600 watts yet their site mention running some devices up to 1800watts...
This should power a fridge which is all i want during an outage!
I doubt it will power it for more than an hour though….and even if the surge watts of the battery is 1200, that's possibly too low for most full size fridges

Big advantage of the ecoflow products is 0-80% charge in 1hr. I was charging mine at 600+ watts the other day, it's insane.
Also they have xboost which allows them to run devices of high wattage. My river pro can do up to 1800w.

I've got the max (this unit w/ the extra battery) & been surprised at how well it's worked. Testing w/ my fridge (10 year old 23 ft3 french door LG) it went over 10 hours in normal operation, including opening the door to get stuff out. Had a little 650w Onan gen set that the fridge, when it kicked on, stalled the engine - the ecoflow kept going. Borrowing or getting a kill-a-watt or some other power consumption meter could give you a better idea if it would work.
Since this uses the same base unit, but 1/2 the battery capacity, in my case would expect it to last 5+ hours. YMWV.

"Double the capacity from 288 Wh to 576 Wh with an extra-battery"
And no direct indication of the cost of the additional battery, but this model with the 500+ Wh is over $500.
https://www.homedepot.c
Not really a SD, paying $1 per Wh capacity.

Extra battery for the ecoflow river cost $179 on their website.
That's definitely not a SD. it's basically the battery equivalent of a 6ah 40v battery. Ryobi equivalent would be about 50% of that $180.
