"Double the capacity from 288 Wh to 576 Wh with an extra-battery"
And no direct indication of the cost of the additional battery, but this model with the 500+ Wh is over $500.

Not really a SD, paying $1 per Wh capacity.

It's only 288Wh, effectively doubling the battery storage to 576Wh. You can only add one extra battery.
Both for $437 with coupons and discount.
Seems reasonable.
the Bluetti EB55 - 700w / 537Wh unit for $500 is the closest rival I could find:
https://www.amazon.com/BLUETTI-Po...B098LSKJHH
However the Bluetti has a Lifepo4 battery instead of lithium ion which has a few advantages. Lifepo4 is supposed to last 4-5 times longer, is safer and I believe lighter than lithium ion.
Slightly larger inverter, smaller Wh..
It's a bit strange this is marketed as a 1200 watt peak but it's really 600 watts yet their site mention running some devices up to 1800watts...

Also they have xboost which allows them to run devices of high wattage. My river pro can do up to 1800w.
This should power a fridge which is all i want during an outage!
Since this uses the same base unit, but 1/2 the battery capacity, in my case would expect it to last 5+ hours. YMWV.
