Okay, so they are pretty much similar (similar size 13.5" vs 13.3", same expect ratio, same LPDDR4x RAM) except for:
This Yoga 6 with the 5700U is much more powerful than the 11th Gen i7 in Spin 3
I'd actually choose this Yoga's display despite Spin's being sharper and brighter (FHD+ 295-nits vs QHD+ 340-nits). The reason for that is that screen bleed and brightness distribution on the Spin 3 is horrendous! So much that it triggers my OCD at times. The brightness would tend/appear to increase and decrease automatically. If you don't have OCD or won't be bothered with such a thing, then Spin's display is better in every way
The ports on both of these devices are exactly the same. Spin has Thunderbolt 4 support though via the USB-Cs, two of em. That's not an issue for me though
The Yoga has a plastic bottom whereas the Spin 3 has an all-metal build
Spin 3 can be opened with one hand while the Yoga can not due to the hinges being more sturdy/stiff
Both are convertibles but the Spin 3 houses a stylus within its chassis, the Yoga does not despite having pen support. That's something which really bothers me
The Yoga has a 1080p webcam WITH privacy shutter, Spin 3 has 720p webcam and no shutter
Trackpad on the Yoga is bigger
Better battery life on the Yoga
Speakers are bad on both but I think Yoga's would definitely be better than the Spin 3
Fabric top on the Yoga, plain aluminum top on the Spin. The former can be a deal breaker for some. I hated the previous denim cover but this teal green cover is much better than that and is also somewhat subtle
One of the most annoying things about my Spin 3 is the narrow AF left and right keys with pg down and pg up above them. I hardly ever hit the left and right buttons in the first attempt
Spin 3 has a much better iGPU (Iris Xe) than the Yoga (Radeon Vega). This might be important for people who'd want to play light games or do light photo editing. The Spin is more adequate for that
To be honest, I'd lean a bit more towards the Yoga 6 2022. As an overall device, it's slightly better than the Spin 3, for me and my needs at least.
You know what else matters most in daily use? The display because that's what you look at all the time and the display on the Inspiron is terrible compared to the other two deals. 250-nits and 45% NTSC. The HDMI is just 1.4b despite this being 2022, the other two have HDMI 2.0. 2x USB-A ports on the other two devices and just 1 on the Inspiron. The RAM, although upgradeable, is the slower than the RAM on both, the Spin 3 and this Yoga.
Also, previous Inspiron 7000 series have had hinge issues as well, more than the previous Yoga 6. Can't say for the 2022 version of both.
Only thing going for the Inspiron is the more powerful processor but the difference between 5700U and 5625U isn't that significant, and the RAM upgradability. I'd rather have a better screen, a slightly less powerful processor (not that noticeable in daily life), better ports and a faster RAM. By using id.me at Lenovo I can get this laptop down to around $600. At that price point, it's a no brainer.
The only way I can recommend the Inspiron is if you're on a tighter budget and can't afford the Yoga 6 or the Spin 3.

How are you comparing a 2 year old version to the latest 2022 model?

Another note, the Acer is coming with Windows 10, and Yoga Windows 11. Neither here nor there.

But I think that's the case with every laptop if you were to block their air intake, and using on a soft surface is usually not advised anyway, as far as I know.
The Yoga 6 2022, according to numerous reviews, does not run hot.

The previous Yoga didn't hit the shelves until October of 2020. Assuming you even managed to bag it right when it arrived, it still wouldn't be 2 years yet.
Also, you said without "worrying", so technically nothing has broken up till now but it's just your worry/fear which is purely subjective.
And we don't know even know how you've been using it. The hinge issue is widely known on their Ideapad series. There are hardly a few complaints on the hinges of the Yoga series. The Yoga C340 series had them, not this one.
