Guys, if you do not see anything, my suggestion is to call T-Mobile and ask if you are eligible for offer P038.

I took advantage of this promo eventhough I was not targeted. I got 1 Iphone Se and 1 iphone 11. T-force gave me a full credit of $430 for the iphone 11 line but still waiting for the correct promo on the iphone se line. Everytime I chat/talk with them to get this issue resolved, at the end of the chat i ask them to give a credit on the account for the trouble i am going thru to get this issue resolved. I got $10 , then $20 and today $50 (total $80 credit)

Was not targeted, but had an old worthless but functioning 5C gathering dust in a drawer for several years. Popped a sim card in it after discovering this thread. Chatted with T-Force then ordered via phone support. Both T-Force and the overseas phone rep promised I was eligible and the P1 credit would apply to my account after the trade, but there as no sign of the credit on the EIP agreement or when the phone shipped.

Once my trade in was received, the P1 promo magically started showing on my account. Sometimes you have to have blind Faith in T-Mobile and their messed up ordering system.

P.S. I attempted to sell the 5C on Craigslist for $20 a year ago and didn't get any takers. Glad I didn't sell it.

updates:

received 3x $17.92 2022 UMTS Apple Upgrade P1 today.

I upgraded 3 lines few weeks ago online. The promos were there during checkout. The P1 promo was not showing on my EIPs after phones shipped. So this time it takes 2 to 3 weeks for the promo to show up on my acct.

Thanks for the update. Is it 2-3 weeks after they received your trade-in devices? Did you talk to rep and ask them add promo manually?

Forgive my ignorance, but paying for 2 years inflated T-Mobile rates (single unlimited line about $70 with tax = $1680) to get $320 credit for "free" phone that will be worth $10 then. And all this hassle?

Maybe I do not see something obvious...
I forgive your ignorance. Let me enlighten you.

Many SlickDealers are on super-grandfathered T-Mobile plans and paying less than MVNO prices. For example, I have 5 lines and a watch, all with unlimited talk/text/data and no throttling, for $120 and change after tax. Got on the "Bridge to Value" plan years ago. Never crossed the bridge but have stayed on it for a decade.

Looking back to the original documents when Bridge to Value was created in 2012, the whole point was for T-Mobile to offer lower rates to longtime customers, to make up for the fact that T-Mobile at the time wanted to get away from the business model of offering phone subsidies. At the time they declared all handsets would always be full price on T-Mobile. A decision they had to reverse a few years later because the other major carriers didn't follow. Side effect... People hanging on
these Bridge to Value plans now effectively get both phone subsidies and the low rates intended to offset such subsidies being discontinued.

Thanks for the update. Looks like the system has delay for this promo. Repped.

If you see P7 then you definitely have to call or chat to switch to P1.

Resellers and cable companies offer $30 with tax unlimited monthly plans, so over 2 years you get a gift of about $900. Plus, some also offer discounted phones. AS an extra benefit, few companies offer multi-network usage, so if base T-Mobile signal gets low you auto jump to AT&T towers.

I see the financial reason to stay with T-Mobile only for those with 4+ lines, military/first responders discount, Apple Watch users and international travelers only.

Maybe I do not see something obvious...
Your ignorance is forgiven. Most people here are legacy customers with 4-5 lines and pay less than $100/mo.

Cheap T-Mobile plans is a totally different forum post... depending on when you took the leap, lots of people got lots of stories of I pay cheap ($$$) for x amount of lines... heck they did that whole mess of "line on us" a few years back to boost their numbers...
