Guys, if you do not see anything, my suggestion is to call T-Mobile and ask if you are eligible for offer P038.

So you did the deal 1 time?

I just did the deal. I received an email about one of my lines because it still has a flip phone being used by my grandmother. I just upgraded one of the lines to a 13 128gb.

I'm debating if I should do more lines on my account. I have 10 lines…3 have eips from the iPhone 12 deal and 1 has todays $430 eip deal.

So I guess I have 6 lines eligible to do the $430 deal. Most of my lines have the 13 from the Best Buy iPhone 12 to 13 upgrade deal.

I'm debating of doing some of the others
To confirm, instead an old iPhone which P038 require, you go an email, allowing you to trade in a flip phones for an iPhone SE 3rd Gen?

any old phone that is active on your acct will trigger the $430 promotion. And it will make all the lines eligible. Still need to trade-in old iPhone to get this promotion.

Has anyone done a pick up in store? I have done 2 separate orders to be shipped and the extra fees were waived.

Wondering if they would charge if I decide to make another order and pick up in store.
The store pickup option is always greyed out for me. I have 3 corporate stores with 1 mile. 🤷🏻

I ordered a SE 3 64gb midnight (does not come in black). I think there is a problem
with your order.
Called 611 and made them admit there is an issue. They allegedly have now canceled the first order, and he did a new one with me on the call. Then has the nerve to charge me for the assist on FIXING THEIR PROBLEM. Rep again confirmed I'm eligible for the deal, but no, I was never targeted. I'll deal with the fee later. The call already blew an hour+ of my time.

But is this same email saying free iPhone SE 3rd Gen with no tax, no upgrade fee or any fee of any kind a few pages back?

I'll add some history.
I went back to my emails and searched tmobile.
As far as I can see, I received my first email from them on April 5th 2022:

Important legal notice regarding the retirement of the T‑Mobile 3G (UMTS) Network on July 1, 2022
Dear xxxx

This is a reminder that your account has one or more lines of service that will be impacted when we retire the older T‑Mobile 3G (UMTS) network on July 1, 2022. As part of our ongoing efforts to create a supercharged network, we're retiring the older T‑Mobile 3G (UMTS) network to free up resources and spectrum that will help us strengthen our entire network and move all customers to more advanced technologies like 4G & 5G.

We want to make this as easy as possible and provide you with the information you need. We continue to have exciting offers and deals for you, including an option for a free 5G phone, but you must upgrade or replace the device(s) below before July 1, 2022, to ensure you continue getting service, including the ability to make 911 calls depending on your location. If a number is not familiar, it may be tied to a device with a data plan.
Lines ending in:
xxxx
Please take action now to avoid any interruption to your wireless services on July 1, 2022, and make the move to take advantage of T‑Mobile's more advanced network technologies, including the largest and fastest nationwide 5G network.

To take advantage of available device offers, please visit your local T‑Mobile store, check out https://www.t‑mobile.com/en/umts-retirement or call (800) 937‑8997.

The line is using a flip phone.

Then on may 3rd, another email:

Urgent legal notice—Action required. The T‑Mobile 3G (UMTS) Network will retire on July 1, 2022

June 3rd, another email saying I could get a free OnePlus Nord N200 5g (after 24 bill credits)
Subject Attention: An upgrade is needed—get it for FREE

June 7th: Final legal notice—Immediate action required. The T‑Mobile 3G (UMTS) Network will retire on July 1, 2022

June 24th, another email promoting the n200 for free and to avoid service interruptions.

It was at this time that I had purchased an iPhone 4 on ebay and put it on an extra line that I wasn't using. This was around June 18th. The email from 24th now had the flip phone line AND the line that I had put the sim in the iPhone 4.

That was the last email from them. I finally placed an order this past weekend.
There was never any wording that I could get an iPhone, it was always that OnePlus Nord n200.

When I placed the order for the iPhone, it showed 2 promos available for my account, simple choice. The $430 off and another one that was half price an iPhone but I think I needed magenta for that.

I so far placed two separate orders. One on Saturday and one on Sunday. The Saturday order has shipped and should be here tomorrow.
I checked my account and under that line it shows:

Promotion Enrollment
xxxxxxx is eligible for 2022 UMTS Apple Upgrade P1 due to an eligible purchase . Monthly credits in the amount of 17.92 will be applied over 24 months for APL IPHONE 13 128G BLK KIT / xxxxxx while maintaining service & promotion eligibility. See promotion terms and eligibility rules at

Also, I did NOT trade in a flip phone. The line is just using a flip phone.
at the start of this promo, I thought that we could trade a flip phone (any phone that was on a qualified line) and get the iPhone deal. A user told me it was NOT possible. Had to trade in an iPhone.

I am including some screenshots that I took when I was placing my order.

Took a chance and traded-in 4 phones (1 x iPhone 5s,3 x iPhone 4S) on 4 lines using P038 promo via chat Friday night. All 4 orders shipped Sunday.

Shows as P7 online. Will be contacting T-Force with chat screenshots Monday.
Contacted T-Force on Twitter to fix the P7 > P1 issue. They promised to fix the promo discount with a follow up in a week's time. So, we'll see how this goes.

I was promised the P1 promo would show up on my next bill, even though 2 T-Force reps told me it's been applied to my account.

Which is different than others on this thread who saw the promo update within a few days.

You can just reuse your old sim. You can reuse and reactivate them now unlike the sims of old. I use to keep a bunch of new sims from Costco too.

Yea, I just like having some around.
Costco used to give them for free and I went a few months ago to get one and they now charge $8 per SIM card

I will attempt to go take my trade in to the store tomorrow and hope the store pushes it through. I have read that a few stores no longer accept the trade ins to mail out to tmobile since some have sent faulty phones and get charged for it.

They keep promising their correct promo will replace old one. I upgraded with no targeted email, but only because chat rep told I could.

It's a week. The promo manual drop out shows and goes away from history but correct promo does not show up.
