Guys, if you do not see anything, my suggestion is to call T-Mobile and ask if you are eligible for offer P038.

I put a sim in my 3gs and it shows that I'm using the xs, but the correct IMEI # though.

I just did this offer, kinda successful. TForce verified that one of my line was qualified for this offer, I couldn't see it on the web so I had them to help me order the iphone 13, $35 assist fee applies. I got the text that I can bring the trade in to the store, did that an hour ago, but when they submit my trade they couldn't find my exact model, which is the 32gb, so they put the 8gb instead. I'm just hoping this won't mess up my credits.
What was the trade process like in store? Received one of my 13's today. Might stop by the store instead of mailing it in and get it over with. Thanks

If you've ever traded a phone in store, then this is pretty much the same process. Just tell them that you're giving in a trade in phone to the store instead of mailing it. It took TMobile 3 weeks to acknowledge the trade was successful, a bit longer than the mail in that I've done in the past.

I was promised the P1 promo would show up on my next bill, even though 2 T-Force reps told me it's been applied to my account.

Which is different than others on this thread who saw the promo update within a few days.J

Thanks. Yea, I was concerned about how strict they would be. I remember trading in some iPhone 5 series phones and the rep inspected them with hawk eyes. I remember him putting his finger on the screen and applying pressure and it showed some weird marks on the screen which disappeared. He almost didn't accept it. Some of these iPhone 4,s have a yellow hue on the screen.

I would have thought in store would be faster than 3 weeks. Thanks for sharing.

Did you take any paper work or just give them your phone number ?

Just gave them my phone #. The way I understand it is that they "help" me mail in the trade, same as in yourself mailing it. The only difference that I see is that once the store accepts it, then at least you have paperwork that it was accepted in good condition, so even if it's lost or does not meet the trade in requirements, you'll have the paperwork to prove it. My 3gs had an inch long crack on the back, screen was fine though, and 2 reps inspected the phone and they didn't care about the crack, they did check for water damage though. I guess it really depends on the rep.

Free? No. The 11 starts at $500 so you would pay $70 plus tax

Stopped by after work, the T-Mobile store didn't want to accept trade ins. Told me to print a label and ship it out.

Got to the post office and the clerk saw assurant on the label and said it can't go in an airplane. So it will take longer to get to the warehouse in Texas.

I hope it doesn't get lost

Anyone have a copy of the deal terms? Any special conditions are far as not canceling a line on the account recently or soon after accepting the promo?

Just wanted to share my experiense.....

Contacted T-Force on Twitter to fix the P7 > P1 issue after my trade-in iPhone 4S was properly processed. T-Force said since I didn't receive a targeted email, I was not qualified. But I was promised via T-Force chat as she checked our previous order communication, she said it was easier for her to apply $330 payment credit for EIP and keep P7 promo for $100/24 months credit. Now my balance is reduced online showing up in an hour. Payment in full in 15 months instead of 24 months.

See this is what I feel is going to happen to me.

Although I was told by T-Force P1 was applied it still be shows P7. I was told it should update on my next bill.

However I have it in writing from 4 different reps that I'm eligible.

Hopefully if it isn't fixed on the next bill they will just credit the balance and close the EIP.

Admittedly I have not read the T&C but I asked a twitter rep this very question before ever ordering. The P1 promo is NOT tied to a line so technically opening and closing of lines on the account should not make a difference. Of course you cannot close the account totally.

Some promos are tied to opening a new line, this one is NOT. Of course as is the case with all these variations, it may require some chat and long phone calls with the T-M reps.
