XBLG is usually $60/year, but Newegg seems to sell it for $50/year on a regular basis. So you buy 3 years for $150, convert it for $1, and $151/36(months)=$4.19/month.
The difference with this deal is it doesn't convert directly for existing subscribers-- each 3 month XBLGold subscription converts to only 50 days of GPUnlimited, which makes it a worse deal. But not by much, since those XBLGold cards are so cheap at cdkeys right now.
You can do both deals as many times as you want, but each account can only have 3 years of GPUnlimited at a time.

Comes out to just over $5/month, which isn't too far off the original $4.20/month for a brand new subscription converting XBLG directly.
No need for a VPN or any such trickery, although if I had seen the post immediately above my own $3.33/month is obviously far better.

Also, if you converted Xbox Live to Game Pass Ultimate in the past (like 3 years ago when GPU was introduced?) is there a limit to how many times or how much time you can convert, or can you convert multiple times?
