WD Blue drives are the lowest quality drive WD offers and according to other forums their reliability is not so great.
This is a very slow drive. With the newest Windows operating systems a 5,400 rpm HD with a small cache will drive you to tears as a primary drive. The only use I could envision for this HD is to archive large amounts of files and leave them alone. Other than that, move on.

With today's ssd technology and low prices, nobody in their right mind should be using a mechanical drive as their OS drive.
