What if I want to book nights at over 50,000 points? Am I unable to do so with the free nights or does it just knock of 50,000 points (so a 70,000 point night becomes 20,000 points)?

Don't think it works like that. Must be 50k or below

"Of course, these free-night certificates are not exactly the same as 250,000 points. Each one can only cover a single night at up to 50,000 points, though thanks to Marriott's recent program changes, you can top each one off with up to 15,000 additional points if you already have Marriott Bonvoy points in your account. So theoretically, each of these certificates can help you get a night's stay worth up to 65,000 points, depending on your points balance.

You can't combine multiple certificates to cover a single night, say, using two 50,000-point ones for a 100,000-point night at a luxury property. Still, the number of certificates available with this offer and the versatility of being able to top them off with even more points means plenty of possibilities for putting them to use."

You can use Marriott points to top-up the certificates by up to 15k points each (for a booking to up to 65k points/night).

Currently have Bonvoy Brilliant and Bonvoy Business from Amex. I have never had the Chase Bonvoy cards. Am I eligible for this sign up bonus?

Yes, you just burn some of your points. What you can't do combine with a cash payment to make up the difference.

Thanks. Too bad it's not 20k points/night. Looking to stay at the Westin Paris Vendome next year but it's 70,000/night.

Keep checking. The amount of points always changes.

They have rates that are points and cash for certain locations. Not sure if you can use those rates but assume you can
