2022: Apple reduces the price of the iPad Mini by $100, making it look like a hot deal at its original price.

Added target at the same price and availability in more colors
I thought most people don't have a Costco membership.
Same goes for the Apple Store and Trader Joes. It really requires a lot of teeth pulling to get Apple hardware serviced via mail -- "just go to a store". No, that's two whole days I have to burn.....one to drop of the device and another to pick it up.

Yeah. There are 2,000 targets vs. 500 costcos in the US. And no membership required. Costco probably has a better return policy but i'd expect this deal to be as popular as the Costco deal because it's more accessible for most.

But you'd get two years extended warranty for purchasing with the Costco visa card, right? That wouldn't be limited to purchases at Costco, but it is a benefit nonetheless.

Costco also gives you a 90-day no questions asked return policy that covers tablets. I believe Target may only offer 14-days for Apple products, and then you must go through the manufacturer. Could be wrong there but pretty sure that is what it used to be.
But obviously, most of the Costco perks come from not only have a standard membership, but an executive membership, and Costco's Credit Card, so obviously they won't apply to everyone and so the 5% off at Target may be more appealing.
