Yeah, so these Samsung mail ins are just for the screen replacement. I work at a UbreakiFix, and the kits we get are screen + frame of device + battery. I'm assuming a Fold they're only going to replace with a new frame and battery, not sure if they even do just screen repairs for the Folds and Flips due to design.
Kudos for Samsung for providing this. Looking at you Apple and Microsoft. Surface duo screen repair is 700 seriously?

I did this last time for my Note 9, and they definitely replace the battery. The official screen replacement kits come with a new frame and battery and they just move over the motherboard. The Note 9 I received back looked brand new, with plastic around the frame. And I suddenly had noticeably more battery percentage left after doing the same daily routine I've done for the past 3 years.

Damn this website. It won't let me place my request. I keep getting this
"We are unable to verify your address"
I have purchased numerous items from Samsung.com and never had this issue. Perhaps the Repair request is a separate app with this issue.

When I click "Mail In/Continue" nothing happens. I'm logged in. Site seems broken.

---

I clicked the "continue" button several times quickly and it started 'working'

---

LOL this site... Now I can't check out. Cannot click "continue", CC info section is greyed out, even though I can manually fill it in

I sent mine in for a cracked screen. On the repair notes they said that there was TouchPad damage, so they replaced the LCD as well. It didn't change the cost of the repair.

Wonder if you go to a Ubreakifix location, they'll match this as they're an authorized Samsung Repair location.

My Note 20 5G has a crack near the camera in the back, not on the screen.
Would they fix that for $50? I'm guessing no, but figured I can ask the forum if anybody has done that.

I don't need replace screen. I just need replace the battery. My local phone shop charges $60 for samsung s9+. I assume they are buying OEM batteries first and rest of the charge is for labor. Is this a reasonable price? Last time I asked Ubreakifix, they were charging $80 for battery replacement.

I think I'm being dense, but if the screen picture is damaged (e.g. a huge black spot on the screen, under the glass) this will not be repaired, correct?
