Aside from the sign up bonus, how is this card overall? I'm looking to get a new card (currently use 3 free cards, no debt) and debating if this one is worth it

Solid if you would take advantage of the benefits and use it with the bonus points categories. MR points are honestly a pain in the ass though imo, especially if you don't like dealing with the complexity of finding ways to maximize the points.
I just don't have the time or flexibility to use them and get good value out of it, so I've just been happy with using Chase UR -> Hyatt and Capital One miles for travel redemptions 1:1. The venture cards are my current favorite recommendations for ease of us.

Pro-tip: If you travel at least a few times a year, get Schwab AMEX Plat and transfer it to your Schwab investment account at 1.1x rate. Just transferred 250,000 MR points for $2,750 after banging my head trying to figure out which airline to transfer to and when. I prefer to use $ instead of points for flights since I'm subscribed to a flight deal newsletter and I want the credit card protection for my trips in case something goes wrong.
I literally just opened a Gold account a week ago and received my card a few days ago. The bonus was 60K. I haven't spent anything yet. What is the chance they honor this new sign up bonus if I call them?

Is the yearly fee up front or at the end of the year?
