I thought about buying one of these to use phone on the ATT network after unlocking it after 60 days of service. It appears that one might not be able to do it as it is not on the ATT whitelist according to this post at Howardforums .

I just grabbed an At&t Prepaid Moto One 5G Ace for $100.00 on clearance at Walmart. Might be a better option for you.

it works, i got this 2 months ago and unlocked recently...put in att sim (red pocket mvno) and works fine...hd voice and everything.

TracFone phones come with a few Garbage apps including games and useless apps (for me). They can be uninstalled but once put a new SIM card (I unlocked mine and use Red pocket gsmt now), it automatically install those garbage apps again. Is there any way to stop it from doing that?

same here. i think the Device Pulse app is the culprit. But, that app cannot be uninstalled or disabled by any method, that I could find.

i uninstalled the junk apps after reset and they haven't returned for a week...so it seems like it only does the junk installs on reset.

Try disabling the system app Mobile Services (misleading name). It seems to d/l apps during system updates.

Anyone knows once the phone is unlocked after 60 days, if the TF SIM can be taken out to use on other unlocked phone? For example, using this Moto phone AFTER unlocked w/AT&T SIM, and then using this TF SIM for an older UNLOCKED phone like a Note/S8/S9? TIA

no reset. i changed sim card from tracfone to redpocket gsmt withiut reset, it installed those garbage.

TF Verizon sims are linked to the IMEI of phone it comes with.
Just swapping may work temporarily but can also mess up your line since VZ will know it's in wrong phone & they've been known to cut off service. It's safer to get a $1 TF sim and activate the other phone keeping current number, any balance will then be moved to the newly activated phone.
