Just a DP. . I finally received my card after 7 days after the email. So I guess everyone is different.
Tue, Aug 2: Card on the way email
Mon, Aug 8: Arrived (envelope is the larger style, about 1.5 width of standard evelope, and slightly plain that says important account information enclosed. PO box from St Louis, MO.
Hope that helps anyone who's anticipating their card arrival. Email said to contact them if not received by the 12th.
Wish I could go back to mommy's place...
If you don't hold on to the card for at least a year they could charge you back for the points for abusing their promotion.

Not sure if there would be any repercussions if you were to load an Amazon account balance, as the fine print probably excludes gift cards and cash equivalents, though I'm sure some people have gotten away with it.
