The annual fee is $95.

This information should be included in the OP.
One thing to note with this offer is that you can claim the 80,000 points with this and then downgrade the card to a Double Cash in a year. Effectively giving the Double Cash a 800$ sub
1) Meet spending requirement on Citi Premier card
2) Earn 80,000 point sign up bonus
3) Downgrade Premier to Double Cash or Custom Cash before you're charged with another annual fee
4) Points balance should carry over from Premier to your downgrade card

Note that points can be redeemed for cash, or can be transferred to JetBlue TrueBlue. Those points have a value of 1.5 cents each, so this bonus could potentially be worth $1200 in JetBlue flights. (source [nerdwallet.com])

Easy 80K points in first month. Is double cash card a best downgrade option after paying $95 fee? Do I have to extract 80K points before any downgrade. TIA.

Why did you hide "Annual Fee $95"?

Should have known, fool me once.... applied last year was denied with a 750+ credit score, saw it again this year, initially decided to not apply, received a direct mailer from Citi and against my own intuition decided to give it a shot, with a 800 credit score - DENIED again, never again SHITI BANK.

Spent over 4K this past month and was awarded over 84000 points but when I choose to get the cash back, my total statement credit back was like only 671 dollars?? Isn't 84000 suppose to be 840 dollars worth?

Has anyone gotten approved and received bonus if they've closed an account within the last 24 months? I closed a thank you card about 13 months ago so it doesn't look like I'll be eligible for this bonus Frown

Do you qualify for the bonus if you've used the Citi Premier card before? I've done my fair share of one and done annual fee cards just for the bonus. But I don't recall specifically if I used this one. Is there any easy way to check?

I had something like $80 of credits on my Custom Cash card, but was allowed to redeem only about $69 on this month's bill.

Don't get sucker into using your points for statement credit. Choose direct deposit instead.
