I dont supposed it can be reconsidered by calling them?
I was just approved for the Chase Ink Business Cash card 2 days ago. Maybe something to do with that? Oh well. I do just have 1 credit card with them (Cash card from previous Premier Thank You card few years back) so maybe I may just not have much Business with them.
I doubt it would do any good
When I was denied they didn't wNt to talk to me and would not give me a reason but I am an old churner with many cards
Instant approval and they say I'll get the card in 7-10 days. Insurance bills on both rental property and car due by the end of the month. $4k shouldn't be hard to hit. Thanks OP!
Does anyone know when the timing of the 80k sign-up bonus hits after you spend the 4k? Is it immediately, at the next statement cycle, or after 1-2 billing cycles ? According to the faqs, it says 1-2 billing cycles but I'm wondering if anyone got it sooner.
For citi and other cards, it is usually the cycle right after you hit the limit. I have this and a custom cash: both bonuses came in immediately after the first month.

Thanks. I was hoping it would hit immediately, but I guess I will have to wait until the next billing statement. I'm looking to book a flight so wanted to transfer the miles asap.

It is possible your Chase Bus application caused the denial. Try again in 8 days.
I applied for a Chase Marriott personal and then tried the Citi Premier and was instantly denied. Waited 8 days to apply again and was instantly approved.

The link is mainly about Citi AA but the 8 day wait is better explained:
Day 1 Apply for 65K AA Personal Plat MC - Starts 60-day and 24-month clocks. No apps of any kind recommended for 8 days.
Day 9 Apply for 50K AA Personal Plat MC using Mailer - Restarts 24-month clock for personal AA card & resets 60-day clock.
I got this card recently. Only would give me 2k limit for some reason and same with my friend. I have a credit score of 812 and all my other card limits have been 16k-28k. They would not raise the limit either. Another thing is that their customer service is horrendous. Lacking tremendously and utterly useless. Even the supervisors are useless. I had the citi app bug out where it reverted some of my activated merchant offers conveniently right before i spent over $600 on one of the merchants. They couldn't help me so they offered 5000 thank you points ($40). Then I had another issue where I had no available credit for three weeks no matter if I paid off my balance. Chase showed that it left my account the same day and a chase rep even confirmed it was sent to Citi and received. The citi rep said they received it but putting it on hold and apologized. Said it would take 1.5 to 2 weeks. After 2.5 weeks it was still not available so I contacted citi customer service. After explaining several times in different ways it went no where so i asked for a supervisor kindly. Spoke to a supervisor (most of the reps have diff communicating or understanding since English is not their first language). She said she could manually make credit available but just wanted to confirm with chase herself. Had me threeway call with chase and confirmed what i said before that chase sent the money and citi was just holding it. She released the credit after that and as an apology offered me 5000 points. After a week i kept checking for these points to show up and never did. Contacted citi customer service again and the rep had difficulty understanding although I explained several ways. Transferred to a supervisor and informed that because the "courtesy points" were in the same week that the system flagged it and stopped it. He said there is absolutely no way or anything he could do. The points would never be rewarded. I kept asking him nicely to come up with a solution or brainstorm/critical think. Gave him an example of how about you waive the annual fee or critically think like that, and that there is always a solution. He just kept repeating "I would do something if i could but there is nothing". This went on for 5 min where he is not even trying. I told him there is always something. Can even write a letter to your manager or escalate it even if it is to request the way the system is or something. He just ignored what I said and repeated that he can't do anything. That was when I got angry because he was just not wanting to assist or being lazy. Can't even say I will at least email or write a letter about one offs like this situation? Even if it won't give points I just wanted him to come up with anything. Just got angry and cussed him out which he probably liked since it gave him reason to hang up on me per protocol since I was being nice the entire time.
I've had a multitude of other issues with this card that I have never experienced with any other bank. Just take my advice and don't give them business. I took my time to write this to warn everyone so hope it helps.

did they say why they wont raise your limit? usually if you wait 90 days and make payments in full monthly then they will raise the credit limit
Any way to use this miles on united airlines? I see it's possible via krisflyer but the flights cost same amount of miles + few hundred dollars surcharge while directly on united the flight has like $10 surcharge.

No that is the frustrating part. I spoke to someone on the phone and messaged via chat. They both said "the system will not allow it. I'm sorry". It's always the "system" with them. Just like what they told me about rescinding my bonus points. Almighty mysterious citi system

A friend of mine got this as his only citi card and statement credit does not show up as an option. Neither does direct deposit.
You could also get flagged if the return is huge and they think you are committing fraud. I think there's an article about this on thepointsguy.
