The annual fee is $95.

This information should be included in the OP.
One thing to note with this offer is that you can claim the 80,000 points with this and then downgrade the card to a Double Cash in a year. Effectively giving the Double Cash a 800$ sub
1) Meet spending requirement on Citi Premier card
2) Earn 80,000 point sign up bonus
3) Downgrade Premier to Double Cash or Custom Cash before you're charged with another annual fee
4) Points balance should carry over from Premier to your downgrade card

Thank you! I did find it for my friend on the desktop site. He had to request a check by mail, but it did work at one cent per point!

I met the spend requirement on my statement that closed January 25th, 2023. On the December 25the billing cycle, I spent $1,200 and the January 25th cycle, I had spent $3,400. In looking at my statement, I see only points from the December cycle of 1,200 points posted but do not see any points from the January 25th cycle posted or the 80,000 sign up bonus either being posted.

The chat representatives are helpless and push you around to wait for at least two billing cycles until standard or bonus point posts which is baloney.

Anyone with similar experience like this?

I would think the bonus points wouldn't show up until your return window on any of the purchased items has passed. At least 30, maybe 60, maybe 90 days?

I checked again yesterday and this time it showed $0.01 per point for both statement credit and deposit to my checking account. I chose statement credit. Seems odd if their exchange rate fluctuates like that, but $0.01 was what I got the very first time I used points (on the original $800 award).

Are you talking about premier or did you downgrade to double cash? There's no cash redemption option on my premier…

I still have Premier, didn't downgrade yet.

Curiously, when I went to the pay with points link at the citi.com site it showed that the points were being valued at .008 (10 points = $0.80), but when I go to the thankyou.com site it shows them at .01 (10 points = $1.00).

Thanks for the reminder and convenient link. I just cashed in all of my points for a statement credit before I totally forgot about it. Ends up as a nice discount on my $4k spend. Points cashed in as 1c per point so 85,603 points = $856.03. I *wish* it was 10 points = $1.00! laugh out loud

LOL, yeah, I was off by an order of magnitude there. 100 points = $1 (not 10 points)

I'm glad you at least got that to work :-)

Hi all is this the best redemption for pony's ey with most value? Or is it better to redeem against travel or book via travel portal?
