This is cheap because it's not great for many users (no built in usb) and no hub powered ports. This is basically the wrong device for most people. The photos shows a bunch of flash drives, but they would all go slower without hub powered ports.

I don't have the same brand but love the individual power switches with a USB hub.

I have a desktop computer and velcroed it under my desk. It looks similar to this one where you have to attach the hub upside down to access the power switches. You just have to remember to attach the USB cords upside down.

I have it. It's basically USB extension cable and nothing more.

I have 3 of these hubs I bought during previous deals.

THE GOOD. Even though I didn't see it in the description, mine do have a power jack next to the USB cable. Hubs did not come with power adaptors, but I already had some from the USB 2.0 hubs I was replacing.

THE BAD. Lately Windows 10 on my computers sporadically stopped recognizing these hubs. I am not sure if the issue is with the driver or the hardware/firmware in the hub. It usually starts working again after reboot, and one of them worked on the laptop I tested it on. Still, this happened independently to two hubs connected to two separate desktops.

Power switches on a USB hub are convenient for additional privacy, because you can power on and off your webcam and microphone at will, but in this case, based on my experience, I suggest looking elsewhere.

That has shorter cable, about 3/4 foot long.

I have this, and like it a lot.

I have my webcam and microphone plugged into it for video and conference calls.

I like having a physical button and a blue light to confirm if the webcam or microphone are on or off. I can physically turn them off and on, and have a visual confirmation with the blue light that it is on or off.

I have 2 of these. They work great. Just for basic uses. One has 2 4TB external drives plugged in. And the other I use with a Logitech Unifying Receiver. But keep in mind the cable is shorter - 2 ft. I also have one with just one port but it has a 6 ft. cable I use when I'm using my piano keyboard.

I have one of these. Although this isn't a powered hub, it does have a dc jack (unless they changed the design). I plugged an external 5v supply to it so that I can power more than one external mechanical hard drive.

Can you recommend one? I have a PC with 2 USB ports. My mouse is wired, external keyboard, I'm hardwired to my modem and my storage all need good USB connections for power buttons. Can you suggest one that's good?

This is a USB 3.0 hub with 4 ports. I do run movies off a 4TB Western Digital My Passport external drive with a micro B port. But this isn't Thunderbolt so I'm not sure you can run steam deck for games.
