This deal is only for new activation. It's not eligible for current customer to renewal the plan.
Current plan holders are always not part of the promotion, this applies to almost every place in USA, as they think current plan holders are already part of their dinner.

Actually, T-Mobile's prepaid plans also have "prioritized data", even their cheapest $10 and $25 per month T-Mobile Connect plans

See https://www.reddit.com/r/NoContra...is_better/

T-Mobile also supports 5G on all prepaid plans, unlike this AT&T plan
While this is true, most parts of the country have significantly better coverage by AT&T or Verizon than T-Mobile. T-Mobile's current advantage is its low-band 5G, but I wouldn't consider them as dependable as either of the big 2 carriers. In larger cities this probably isn't as much of a problem, but it is a big problem where I live.

Visible much better . On att and cricket You cannot use FaceTime when limit is gone 😳
Visible is only better if you routinely blow through all of your data. Visible is very deprioritized and you will likely notice this during peak hours. I've never once "felt" deprioritization with AT&T Prepaid's 8GB plan since there are only a few AT&T plans prioritized above it.

Check out this spreadsheet:
https://airtable.com/shrraH105YVJ...Yg7OgNGNwR

Visible has a QCI of 9, meaning it is prioritized below even a bunch of other MVNOs, unlike AT&T Prepaid's data-limited plans.

Is the 16 Gb only for the first year or for subsequent annual renewals as well? If the 16 GB plan also renews during the next annual renewal, then this is a deadly deal.
Afraid what ATT will charge after the year is up.. can't find an answer

Any update after talking to customer service.

I was planning to switch to this from T-Mobile post plan (magenta essential). Paying $133 for 4 lines now. Looks like this will definitely save some money.

This seems like a good enough reason to stick on 30 a month 10GB Red Pocket GSMA. Also not having to pony 300 all at once. a bit tempting tho.

It's kind of esoteric but there is time value of money. $300 spent now is literally worth more than paid out over a year. Especially with 8.6 inflation. However, the delta is probably pretty small, shrug.

I wish I could cancel my garbage Redpocket service and use AT&T instead. This is way better than Redpocket. That company is a nightmare.

Does anyone have experience if data of $30/mo ATT prepaid plan work in Canada? Will have a travel soon. Called ATT CS, got conflict responses.
