Hart is made by the same company that makes Ryobi. I'd say Hart is equivalent to the lower end Ryobi tools and meant to compete with Black and Decker. Many of the Hart power and lawn tools look very similar to the Ryobi versions, just a different color and battery style.

Great deal for homeowner grade tools, don't let the naysayers who will soon flood in about team black and yellow or white and red, for the average person hart does the job just fine. If you want to be a brand snob and hang with the real pros just skip over dewalt or milwaukee and head straight to hilti, snapon, or festool they have some $800 drills they would love to sell you.

Yea wrong tool. You're looking for an impact wrench. This is an impact driver. They work under the same premise but the driver has about 1/4 to 1/8th the impact power.

If you had to compare, are HART power tools equivalent to black and decker or Ryobi power tools?

The batteries are the smallest ones they make, so you might want to buy a bigger one if you have a long project planned. At this price I'd recommend it to anyone who has an occasional need of power tools

In my opinion, identical to Stanley and/or Black and Decker. I've had many of all 3 brands

I grabbed these when they were on clearance for $50.00. Not a bad little kit for small household projects. I tried the impact on my Ford Edge's lug nuts last week but it wasn't strong enough to remove them.

Fwiw, I've had the Hyper tough version for over two years and have driven thousands of fasteners with the impact driver, including 5" structural lag bolts. An impact driver is meant for construction, an impact wrench has the torque for lug nuts. I've been happy with it.
