Why was there a recall on this tuna before? Does anyone know what exactly is in the vegetable broth besides some kind of soy products? Why did they put that in? Anyone know where these are caught?https://chickenofthesea.com/trace/… Tell me what your tuna says

Is 2-3 bucks per pound a good price?

This is tuna mush... yuck. I personally have found the Aldi pole and line tuna to be excellent.

We're heading for ramen and beans years, no doubt about it.

Yeah, the quality on Chicken of the Sea has gone waaaaay downhill in the last few years. Their mainline products they sell at Costco are still good but the last couple times I've tried ordering from Amazon it's just been inferior junk. Just a shredded watery mess.

Yeah, the "chunk light" that CotS sells isn't chunky and isn't light. It's a weird off-color watery mush that's only appropriate for heavily seasoned tuna salad. Some of the lowest quality tuna you can buy.

I don't know if this helps, but this sale makes each can about the same price as generic cheap stuff from Walmart, Target, etc. So, I'd say it's a good price for a brand product vs generic but not necessarily an amazing deal or anything.

Am I blind or is there's no option to use gift card balance for SS items anymore?
