Never buying subway again. Here is what happened. I placed the bogo order and 5 mins later, store calls and says they are having issues and cant see my order so im not getting my food. They told me to call the credit card company to get a refund. Oh btw, they dont even have a 1-800 number to call for customer service. Very disappointed. I emailed customer service and no reply. Its been over 3 days.

You should watch Last Week Tonight's episode on how Subway completely screws over the store owners. https://youtu.be/jDdYFhzVCDM

Have a good day. Not sure what ur getting at n im not fighting about something that is pointless. Just providing information that others can look up a well.
All the things you pointed towards at subway tuna not being tuna are all allegations. If we're going that route, you would be in prison for life for what I might say about you.

I order subway once a year(if even that) and it's not even the tuna sub since I can make that easily at home so this is coming from a neutral standpoint.

What we do know for certain is that literally zero lawsuits against Subway having fake tuna has won any cases. They were all dismissed in favor of Subway. If you're about to say Subway has the power to cover it up, we're back to allegations again aren't we? If we are… I have an accusation against you for a horrendous act you committed and therefore you should be in maximum security forever once I move forward with it.

My luck has been hit or miss on whether they'll honor these, but my last experience was just completely unacceptable. Placed an online order for the BOGO footlong, it went through, charged me $11.90 for a rotisserie chicken and steak and cheese footlong (which is quite a bit more than I used to pay anyway). Seems simple enough. When I showed up at the restaurant, I was told that they don't accept the coupons, but they went ahead and made me two six inch subs. That alone is unacceptable since that is not what I ordered. But this is where it gets REALLY shady. He also told me that I owed them $3.50 because that is the cost of two six inch subs (subs I didn't order in the first place), as a 6 inch costs more than half the price of a footlong, and refused to give me a refund because they "already made the sandwiches!" The guy (I think he was the owner) pointed at a sign next to the register that says "we do not accept any coupons" and told me that because the policy was posted, I was responsible for knowing it... even though I ordered at home. It seems that the only thing that happens if you complaint to their "customer support" is they forward your complaint right back to the franchise owner, and that's the end of it as far as corporate is concerned. A credit card dispute was the only way out of this.

I get it, people are saying these Subway franchise owners are victims of bad corporate policies, and Subway is treating them horribly. But I also don't have much sympathy for "victims" who think it's OK to bait and switch a customer, demand more money, and refuse to give a refund.

I love all the Subway hate. People act like Subway used to be awesome or something.

Were the subs possibly slightly better in years past? Maybe a touch, but I never understood the hype.

I've used this deal several times already. BOGO Chicken Bacon Ranch for a bit over $5 a sub (I actually think their rotisserie chicken is an improvement over what it used to be or BOGO Turkey for under $5 a sub. Solid deal

I will say if your sub is super skimpy try a different Subway. Some definitely put a whole lot more on, while others put a laughable amount. I got double spinach on my sub one day and I think they might have put about 5 leaves on
I think people have fond memories because it used to be so much cheaper, $5 footlongs all day every day.

Similar thing.... I placed my order via the app and went to the store 20 min later and the lady yelled at me saying she hasn't had time because she's the only one working. No one to call for a refund, sent e-mail via website with no response. NEVER AGAIN

Subway deals are not deals. All they do is increase click from SD to Subway. Can we stop posting Subway deals for these 3 specific reasons:

1. Subway "footlong" subs are not a foot long. This, alone, makes any footlong deal unable to be replicated.

2. Subway tuna salad contains no tuna. We know this to be confirmed, and any deal offering tuna salad is unable to be replicated.

3. Subway coupons are not accepted at most Subway locations. Since the start of COVID, Subway restaurants have been posting sign in their locations that they are unable to accept coupons. Not only do their website locations stated that the location is not accepting coupons, but patrons are unable to use a paper coupon either. Subway has raised prices and stopped taking discounts which makes any coupon releated deal unable to replicate.

The Indians here have a monopoly on all of the local ones. They refuse to take any coupons or deals/special, they stay open til 9, but ran out of most things by around 5pm because they don't make enough. They are horrid.

Cool deal. Most places in San Jose didn't take it but found a place in Sunnyvale that did. Picking mine up after gym.
