This is the 2022 version of the Inspiron 15 7000 2-in-1 series where they have moved to 16" 16:10 display and being offered with either a 1920x1200 300-nits IPS display with 100% sRGB or a UHD+ OLED Panel with 400-nits SDR brightness (HDR brightness can go over 500-nits) 100% DCI-P3 Display. The Chassis has been redesigned as well with full aluminum build and very strong base. Below are some key details:
The Chassis is completely made of very strong aluminum. As per the reviews, it is much stronger and sturdy than the lighter laptops like Galaxy Book 15 360 or LG Gram 16. But it is heavy at 4.62 lbs for the UHD Touch model.
Reviews are available for the FHD model but that will give you idea about the build quality, ports, internals etc.
It has 2 DDR4 Ram slots and both are user upgradable. You can go up to 64GB.
Single M.2 2280 SSD Slot which is populated with Gen 3 SSD but it supports Gen 4 SSD.
The Network Card is also user upgradable.
The Battery is pretty big for Laptop using Low powered CPU and GPU.
Nvidia MX550 is nothing but a stripped down GTX 1650 Ti. It has same 1024 CUDA cores but the Memory Bus is cut to 64 Bit only. And it is faster than the 680M integrated Graphics in Ryzen 6800H/U. As per Notebookcheck, it is around 5%-10% faster than a GTX 1050 Ti Mobile GPU. But it has the upgraded Video encoding and decoding engine of Turning series.
The BB model does not come with the Stylus. This model supports WACOM AES based Active Pens and Dell is selling the compatible Pen PN5122W at $39. Link: https://www.dell.com/en-us/member...tablet-pcs

In case anyone is wondering, this does not have a numeric keypad like most 15"+ inch laptops do. I think none of the inspiron 16 inch 16:10 laptop have them though.
Yes, Dell and Lenovo doing this lately. I think they want you to use the fully function DisplayPort over Type-C instead. This has 2x USB-C TB4 port. SO, running 4K at 120Hz won't be any issue.
