Allstate warranty SUCKS, they declined me to replace or repair my current tv that I have bough at Costco. I am now trying to fight it with CitiBank card since i paid with them and they suppose to give me extra 2 years. Anyone had luck?

So I know I want this size and model (LG C1 65"). My normal mind says wait till 4th of July sales, or if I'm patient enough to wait for sales around Black Friday. Based upon last Black Friday, and the fact that the deals were terrible last year, I have this sneaking suspicion this panel will not go much lower. Anyone have a crystal ball that can tell me that it won't go much lower and that I should just buy it now cause like multiple YouTubers say, it's going to be harder to get later in the year too? Thanks lol!
I felt the same with the CX, I waited for a drop on it and by black friday 2021, it was only C1 models. Currently the C2 model( if I remember correctly) is out, so you have 2 options: if you NEED the TV NOW, get it, OR just wait it out and accept your fate and if the C1 is phased out by black Friday and no stock, then move onto the C2(whatever it is called).

In the end, LG OLED is solid and the best and my daily use with PS5 /PC and all 4K media

How does the LG C1 compare to the new Samsung S95B?
Samsungs QD-OLED adds an quantum dot later. Makes for a brighter picture and better more vibrant warm colors. Along with the Sony QD-OLED, it's Probably the best TV you can get in 2022. Much higher price point though and only in 55" and 65". Not really a fair comparison.

Wow the price keeps dropping on the C1. I wonder what it will get down to for Black Friday!
If they're still around by then. Aren't the C2 models are shipping now?

Why did they deny you? What was your issue?

S95B is OLED, it's Samsung's new QD-OLED, which differs from LG's W-OLED.
Oh...I read it as Q95B. My bad, my apologies.

Thanks for the response! I fear the same, that they really don't have to drop the price much to sell out with supply chain issues and the obvious demand for the C1. I'm tempted to just pull the trigger, as our 9 year old plasma keeps crapping out and randomly turning off.

I'm in the same boat, coming from a 2019 C8 LG OLED I'm considering going to the 77 Sony C1 equivalent since I don't do any gaming. If it ever gets sub 2K refurbished, I'll pull the trigger.

I don't see this TV dropping more than $100-200 more than this - don't chase a better deal, this one is great, hop on it brother! Logistics are already strained as is, Black Friday will be crazier still.

These TVs are being put on sales because they need the space to put the new C2s on the shelves. If you're waiting for Black Friday to pick one up, they will all be gone. 4th of July is stretching it already.

I bought this 65" LG C1 from Amazon about 3 weeks ago for $1569, it was delivered the next day and included the upgraded delivery, they unboxed and set up the tv on my stand and did basic hook ups. Very pleased with the service I received. And the tv is outstanding so far. I would highly recommend getting one now if you are in the market. I am now waiting for a LG soundbar to be delivered.

costco has LG C1 65 on $150 gift card bonus.
Thanks! Was about to buy this same TV at Best Buy when I saw the Costco deal. Smilie

This deal is made ever slicker by the fact LG/Costco is offering a $100 streaming credit when you buy this TV. From the Costco site:

Quote :
"Receive a $100 Streaming Credit towards your choice of Google Play, Paramount+, Showtime, Sling TV, or Xbox with the purchase of this LG OLED83C1AUA TV. After purchasing and receiving your TV, please visit www.LG-Promos.com/tvoffer to begin your claim process and receive your streaming credit via email. Limit one per eligible LG TV purchase. Claim(s) must be submitted within 90 days of purchase date."
Got mine ordered and set for delivery next week. Hoping the $100 Xbox credit is just a generic Xbox Store credit that I can also use for games rather than movies.
