Ive got a 4 year old OLED from 2018. Would this be an upgrade or no?

If you have the C8, no. If you have a 6 or 7 series, yes.

I'm also seeing an Open Box-Excellent option for $749. Add 5 year warranty for $150 and its $900. Not to bad if you don't need gaming features.

Found open box satisfactory for 680, as long as there's no visible scratches on the screen I'll keep it at that steal of a price for a 65" oled

Yeah this is the "budget" model for last year. Same oled panel as their ones that cost almost twice the price though!

For a lot of people, 60Hz is fine. They're not playing video games, and 3:2 pulldown is so established that movies will look perfectly acceptable. And the PQ of OLED is unmatched at this time.

Yeah movie or TV shows you're not gonna notice. It's really just not the best gamer's TV.

I doubt it since it's listed as excellent which means it has all accessories and essentially like new.

I have a 65" B8 and a 55" A1. There is a subtle, but visible difference even when not side by side. A B8 or C8 will be better, but the A1 is vastly superior to most LCD's...

I thought the a1 was too dim and I watch tv in a fairly dark room. Dolby vision was annoyingly dim. It's like Ted lasso was filmed in a warehouse with no lights on.

Took the c1 out of the box, didn't touch any settings and been happy since day 1. The a1 I had to constantly tweak the settings hoping there was a fix

Yeah there's one at the best buy by me. On the fence because I would like 120 hz. But it's a great price to get in the OLED market
