My daily driver is a Casio ProTrek PRW-3000-1A. It's black on black with a negative display. It's not as tall or big and doesn't stand out, but the time display font is larger than this watch and easier to read. Best I can tell, it has all of the same features except you give up 100m of waterproofing (100m vs 200m). If you're down over 330ft and worried about your watch, you have bigger problems on your hands.
Was just gonna say the same thing. I remember 25 years ago, this thing was $60. Damn inflation sucks.
I have a very similar G shock I bought from Costco in probably 2007. I feel like it was only $40 or so. It has the same solar power, atomic clock, auto light, but not the barometer and compass and stuff. The band eventually broke down, but otherwise it's indestructible. It is also huge, but I got used to it. I wish there was a cheaper option to get some of these features in a smaller size.
