Video was much better on the Celeron I could co 4k at 30hz vs 1080p @ 24hz. On an external monitor of course.
The battery does last longer on the 8183,

I'm good with what I have and I want extra RAM more than anything, but this is a great deal that should be jumped on. It's also nice to see more than 32 GB eMMC at a sub-$100 price point.
And it is "it is fine" , by which I mean I am very happy for what it is =) and the price I got it for. I am not complaining about the speed, or the battery life, it is a nice 2nd computer that I use when I travel. A computer I used to use several hours a day outside in the sun when it was still spring and before it got to 90 to 100 degree weather outside.
Very happy with my purchase. Only complaint I have is the screen is not IPS but the screen is actually pretty good for a TN panel, in a way I can say "it is fine" / satisfactory and I have no real complaints for the device I bought in February for the price I bought it for (similar to this.)

I hope it makes people happy who are considering it. I would recommend it. It is not slow, it does its job of what I expect out of it and what you should expect out of a sub $100 dollar device.

On my 8183 Duet just having the external monitor on slowed it down.
The I3 with 8GB DDR is lightening fast even with many tabs open and it will do 4K @ 60hz. But it was far more expensive $330 on sale open box. ASUS C536.

If I recall the ways to do Linux is Debian Buster (which I did), but one can also do Crouton, or dual boot with ChrUbuntu. But do not take my word for the 2nd and 3rd option for I have not attempted it.
