I use mostly chrome & occasionally firefox browsers.

I used this at my last job. Great software since it was provided by work. However, like meatball15 states, try Greenshot as it's pretty good and I use it or just the Windows Snipping tool (if I don't need to add highlights, circle things, etc.).

I'm going to look into ShareX though, now that I see it too.

I used to use this at an old job quite a bit but have since switched to the native Snip and Sketch that is available with Windows.

I got excited thinking this was Camtasia! They've been emailing talking about all the new features. I'm still using the 2018 version of Snagit/Camtasia combo I got for $20 thanks to SlickDeals. I have 2021 version on work computer and didn't see a reason to upgrade, but 2022 one looks good.

You actually do NOT want to do this. If you break the yearly maintenance cycle, you'll need to pay full price to get it again. I highly recommend keeping the maintenance price (they give you a gov & edu discount) on the maintenance agreement as well.
