While not "compact" I got a Fractal Node 804 for my matx server. There are smaller cases, but this thing is super compact if the goal is to cram a bunch of hard drives in. Fits 8 x 3.5" and full size atx PSU and was by far the best choice for my matx home server.
Silverstone Milo ML03B - Full size PSU and Low Profile GPU/expansion slots
Silverstone GD05B - Full size PSU and full height expansion slots. (Still have to be mindful of GPU size)
I have one 45 mins away but don't want to drive out to check deals. Any easy way to find out about combo deals aside from going to store?
Unfortunately there is no Microcenter near me, so every time I see these offers for "in-store only" I just gnash my teeth! Have fun.

Should be arriving today sometime.
I'm definitely going to return it , and me the $15 bill in the package as a restocking fee.
I win, and so does the seller.
I was trying to just get AMD to send me a loaner cpu, but they wanted me to also contact the manufacturer and get a written statement saying that there was no bios flashback available and that it requires a loaner CPU. I just didn't have the time

Considering their price on the 5600, I'd opt for that and a cheaper b550

Actually that's the best mATX B450 mobo.
Still going to buy one with AMEX discount unless someone knows of a better deal.
Thanks!
Edit:
Yeah, the link from the CPU to the chipset is gimped, but that isn't what is causing the bottom PCI-E x16 and M.2 to share lanes. That's just a limitation of the B450 chipset no matter what CPU is used.

I thought they had some sort of loan program for that. I remember seeing it somewhere but I can't recall where though.
