Great price but so not recommended because of the app that controls it. The latest update made this robot basically useless. Just read the reviews for the ihome clean app on whatever app store you use.

Unfortunately, I'm losing a lot of faith with iHome products. Just recently, iHome turned off the smart home functionality for all their smart plugs making them useless. It worked well for the past 4 years but now it's simply paper weights.

Huh, the latest update has been fantastic both ours. I will say that I did have to reset and re-add one of them to the app, but it picked up right where it left of with settings, map, and no-go zones.

Have this exact one cleaning as we speak. Highly recommend.

The app update has made it much better and more user friendly, though I did need to reset zones.

Only downside is no Alexa/Google integration to easily say "Alexa, clean the family room." That being said, I just setup different areas on schedules or use the iHome app.

Been using this for more than a year now. A little buggy but gets the job done. I'd buy it for this price, esp with an auto-empty bin.

Do you use it on carpet?

I've had this for a while now. I also bought it at $270 and think that was a fair price. The original software was unreliable and bad, then after a few months they replaced it with a totally new app that was dramatically worse and dropped features, but recently they released a third totally new app that brings back the old features and improves stability. The LIDAR mapping is good, the vacuum performance is fine, and the autocollection is convenient.

Previous post got deleted with all my reviews about this robot.

I have been owner of this robot for about 2 weeks now and it exceeded my expectations. You're basically getting all the bells of top of the line robots for 1/5th of price tag. I had concerns about brand name therefore bought 3 year warranty with it.

I set this thing up to perform vacuuming twice a day and it has been doing its task better than I would have done with my cordless vacuum. Coming home and not dealing with cleaning dog hair is awesome.

My home has hardwood floors and rugs.

Do you use it on full carpet? If so, any issues ripping carpet off?

Do you use the mop function as well? How does it work on hardwood floors? This will be the 3rd vac I bought (returning the other two because of upgrading), and curious is the mop function is dependable. Also any cheap options for pads?
Mom function is like, moist dusting at best. It won't take up much. I have tile so I can't speak specifically for hard wood, but dont hold your breath on the mop function. I haven't needed replacement pads since I hardly use the mop function, but the the aftermarket replacement bags can be found on Amazon. It's a good vacuum but the app is buggy and won't save barriers in my experience.

Tried twice and it worked for me, but can't speak for how good it is since I have no other mopping robot to compare. It doesn't have agitation. I don't think I will use it often tho. I bought it specifically for cleaning dog hair.

Should I return the Wyze from recent FP deals for this? Is self-emptying worth it?

I bought this during a slickdeals last year for $270. The self vacuuming feature alone makes it worth it which I vacuum out every couple of weeks. You can buy a couple replacement bags for it from Amazon for like $20 but haven't had to yet.
