Great price but so not recommended because of the app that controls it. The latest update made this robot basically useless. Just read the reviews for the ihome clean app on whatever app store you use.

Unfortunately, I'm losing a lot of faith with iHome products. Just recently, iHome turned off the smart home functionality for all their smart plugs making them useless. It worked well for the past 4 years but now it's simply paper weights.

Huh, the latest update has been fantastic both ours. I will say that I did have to reset and re-add one of them to the app, but it picked up right where it left of with settings, map, and no-go zones.

Have this exact one cleaning as we speak. Highly recommend.

The app update has made it much better and more user friendly, though I did need to reset zones.

Only downside is no Alexa/Google integration to easily say "Alexa, clean the family room." That being said, I just setup different areas on schedules or use the iHome app.

Should I return the Wyze from recent FP deals for this? Is self-emptying worth it?
Same question?

This or the wyze robot vacuum?
I love Wyze but this one does two main things different
1) self emptying
2) mop + vacuum (vs just vacuum)

Can I put the base in a closet and just leave the closet door open when running the vacuum? I don't have a place to leave the base out in the living area

This one or Wyze?
I love my WYZE but I have to say that the self collection is kind of a big deal, especially if you schedule them to vacuum daily or every other day, which you should with these robot vacuums because the dust bin is pretty small. Having to remember to empty the dust bin after each cleaning is kind of a pain. I know, first world problems but it's just my 2 cents.

100% true.

I bought this some time back.
The new app sucks.

Can you get replacement parts for this, such as brushes and filter etc? I only see the vacuum bags.

Did some research on this robot, seems like a lot of the reviews mention that it stops working after a year or so. If you do buy this a safe bet would be to get an extended warranty.

I agree that posts that suggest the latest app upgrade is better than prior one and the robot "gets the job done" is good enough at this price with auto emptying feature. I'm in for one.

All such vacuum robots should see similar price drops as the technology is getting benefits of scale of production.

I bought this during a slickdeals last year for $270. The self vacuuming feature alone makes it worth it which I vacuum out every couple of weeks. You can buy a couple replacement bags for it from Amazon for like $20 but haven't had to yet.

Oh... you have to buy replacement bags??!! Any hacks around that recurring cost?

Was waiting for Roborock but in for one of these - price seems great. Moving into a new home with hardwood, tile, and carpet. Can I use this everywhere?

I am very interested in this as well. Does anyone have the official part number or link for replacements? How about the mop pad as well? Definitely something to consider, although dont think it's a deal breaker. Vacuuming and mopping sucks and this seems like a good value solution.

Apparently, these work for iHome. https://smile.amazon.com/Leakproo...B08MWSF5KP

But I am more worried about the brushes and filters, particularly the side brush as it tends to bend bristles very easily over time. I haven't been able to locate those. The same issue with Wyze.

I bought this one when it was $270. It lasted 3 months. The gears that hold the only brush got rounded so now the brush does not spin.. Useless for vacuum.. I still use it for mopping.
