There have been budget 3060 laptops for as little as 800 but not with this nice of a chassis.
If you have to move your laptop a lot, you may not want the plastic chassis that comes with today's budget gaming laptops.
This one has a machined aluminum body.
While not exactly a light laptop at 4.4lbs it's still pretty mobile.
ps: I don't have any evidence, but I am expecting a flood of refurbed 3060 laptops to become available on ebay with 3rd party extended warranties that come from closed down mining farms. I would expect the only real issues with this is fans going out but that's what warranties are for.
