Difference in pro vs standard? In a nut shell? is it like Intel versus m series compatibility?

-edit-.
it says 12 Mon sub. is it an unlimited subscription or is it only active for a year?

standard is limited to 8gbs/4 cpu pro 128gbs of ram and lots more cpu and a lot more vm configurations/tweaks

Good software. Overpriced. Should be 40$ a year

Better deal when it's on StackSocial on sale for $80 plus a 30-40% coupon. I got it for $56 in March. You may want to wait until Black Friday to see it even cheaper with a 40% off coupon

1. Virtualbox does it free.
https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Downloads

2. THERE IS NO WAY TO INSTALL X64-BIT regular windows 10/11 into M1 Macs, only older Intel macs!

You are forced into installing Arm Version, which itself CANNOT RUN ALL X64 BIT Windows apps - only a small subset.
Forget about a ton of PC apps running on M1 macs.

No issues with Intel Macs.

The last I remembered, they treat every year's MacOS release as a new OS version and don't support it. It used to make sense in 2010. But they did it even as late as 2015. Not sure if they keep this act up.

Parallels has always (artificially) limited compatibility with newer MacOS versions. Even in the days where you "owned" the product. Yeah you were able to use it beyond 12 months but only if you didn't upgrade MacOS. I have stopped using Parallels a long time ago. VirtualBox is free and works very well.
