That PU leather will start to flake off, you'll start seeing pieces of it all over the carpet and in rooms you wouldn't expect meaning it stuck to you or your feet when it flaked off and you carried it around the house.
This definitely seems like a case of "you get what you pay for"
Who knew?? My grandad had a "gamer" chair back in 1984!

What are people experiences with these? I know you get what you pay for but living in an apartment, limited room but would like a good budget gaming chair. Thanks

i dont have this exact item but i have one that looks exactly like it without the "gaming" aspects and its surprisingly good for the value proposition.

its good for a small room where something like a loveseat or couch is too big. i have a plain black one (with built in massager that is useless) that i got off walmart for 100. use it for watching tv and gaming on the ps5.
if it broke i'd buy another.

Hey we are in the exact same boat. Bought mine from Walmart couple years back with the 100% useless message function for $100. Still sitting on it but it is cheaply made. That's fine since for $100, it's basically disposable furniture. If I get couple years out of one, that's fine by me. Ordered this one yesterday from B&H before I posted it so that whenever the current one breaks or becomes uncomfortable, I'll have a replacement right away.

No they are not. Yes they are smaller than your usual recliner but they are definitely adult usable, though I can see "wide" adults or people over 6ft may have some issues.

Max weight: 275 lb / 124.74 kg

Kind of on the light side for a recliner. Same weight as the cheap office manager chairs.
