Here is a pic of an old school Craftsman 1/4" drive with 10mm socket next to a Gearwrench pass-thru. The Craftsman is 35mm tall, the Gearwrench is 26mm. You may call that 9mm nonsense, but I call it the difference between getting some jobs done quickly and looking for another way to get to that god damn bolt that some engineer hid in a hard to access location.

These are my go-to 1/4" sockets. Not so much for the pass-thru function (though that can sometimes be handy), but for the really low profile you get by inserting the socket into the wrench head as opposed to sticking a socket on a traditional ratchets external nub.

I also love the locking flex head - wouldn't use a flex without a lock.

I used to work as automotive tech and this was hands down my most commonly used tool for tight access spaces such as against firewall. Can't recommend highly enough. This would also make a great road toolkit for a motorcycle.

Great for removing swaybay links on a model s. The bolt is behind the rotor in the knuckle. I wonder which knuckle head came up with that idiotic design.

LOL! I got a down vote for complimenting the tools.. wow!
