That said, I have two of these in my PC, both with third party heatsinks, and while one generally stays around 35-40 degrees, the other rarely drops below 50 degrees. So, placement on your motherboard and airflow will have a big impact on your temps. (Also, I spoke too soon. I recently upgraded two of my case fans, and the drive that rarely fell below 50 degrees has been 47 degrees since I started writing this.)
Then again, I haven't run into any throttling yet. They're optimized to run well when pretty hot. So, the included heatsink is probably fine. If you want some extra peace of mind, buy a cheap heatsink.
All of that said, this is the lowest that this drive has ever been (other than one brief one-day sale on a rebranded one for a few dollars less), This is one of the cheapest of the latest version of Gen4 of m.2 drives you can buy. It's also one of the fastest.
And Amazon is matching Best Buy's price.
